The BRC and BRC-U are two days of instruction intended for those with little or no riding experience, or for any rider who has missed the opportunity to take formal motorcycle rider education. The BRC-U is the updated version that is replacing the current BRC throughout the State of Texas by the end of 2017. The main difference is the incorporation of a required eCourse (online, web-based course) for the BRC-U which is to be completed prior to the BRC-U class. The other notable difference is the increase of student interaction and activities during the classroom portion of the new course. Both are hands-on, learner-centered, step-by-step courses that teach everything from the ground up. The current BRC is a total of 15 hours (around 5 hours of classroom instruction and around10 hours of on-the-seat time at a range), and the BRC-U includes an additional 3 hours for the eCourse.to be taken at your convenience – to be completed prior to the first day of class). We provide the motorcycles for these courses. Click here for more details.
**Not all sites have converted to the BRC-U yet, so look for more detailed instructions about the BRC-U eCourse on the confirmation email you receive from us after registering for the BRC-U version of the course.SCHEDULE
